Western America views executive management as partners in the process of creating
a successful investment. The success of the overall strategy depends on the company's
management and the Partners' maintaining a close working relationship following an
investment. We focus, with management, on improvements in financial performance
through initiating programs to grow revenues, expand margins and efficiently
manage working capital, resulting in earnings growth and greater cash flow.
Early support of an acquired company leads to better operating performance for
the business. Consequently, following the closing of a transaction, we have one
or more of our team members work on-site with management, assisting with operational,
financial reporting and transitional issues. As appropriate, following this initial
period, Western America will continue to work closely with senior management through
regular on-site visits and scheduled management meetings to provide support
for various initiatives.
